The existing shutter is fitted with motor & gear-based opening & closing mechanism. Since this mechanism is on gears, the shutter cannot be pulled up once the gears are locked. Just like a car. This also removes the necessity of locking the shutter and hence provides a very high level of security since there is no lock to be broken into.
At designated time of closing the shutter, the 2-way audio box inside the ATM room will warn the person that Shutter is closing. Then the system checks using Motion Sensor if any person is still inside the ATM Room.
If any person is detected inside the ATM room, the shutter will not close and will try after some time. If no person is found inside, it will start closing the shutter.
A sensor is also installed at the bottom of shutter. (Show round red sensor and a kind of laser beam across the width of the shutter. If there is any one in between, the shutter operation immediately stops.
After the shutter is closed, a message will be sent to Securens command. The executives will verify that there are no persons inside the premises. If any person is found, Securens executives will open the shutter and use 2-Way audio to request the person to leave the premises.

How does ACTIALERT® for Buildings Work?
- Cameras with human detection video analytics, floodlights and siren are installed all along your boundary. These are connected to Securens Award winning command Centre.
- A digital Region of Interest (RoI) also called the ‘Alert Zone’ is drawn along the boundary using the video analytics camera.
- If an intruder enters this Alert Zone, the floodlights come on instantly alerting the intruder that they have been detected.
- Simultaneously an alert is sent to Securens command Centre. The operatives at the command Centre immediately access the video of that camera to perform Video Verification.
- On accessing the video, if the intruder has not fled after the lights came on, the operators would start the siren.
- At the same time, a call would go to your Guard House to inform the guard of the attempted intrusion.
